Taughannock Park’s waterfall is one of North Easts most beautiful to be seen. Has 400-foot cliffs above the water in the gorge. Campsites and cabins overlook Cayuga Lake. One of many lakes in the Finger Lakes region. Many trails to hike on and bring a camera for spectacular sight see views. Pitch a tent or rent a cabin. Bring a camper for a fun vacation.                                                                                                  Laying out on the beach enjoying the day and playing in the water. Playing water sport games and maybe laying on a raft. Swimming in the water and perhaps go scuba diving or snorkeling.                                                                                                                             There are many kinds of fish that you catch while fishing. Canoeing and Kayaks can be lots of fun. Bring a grill or start a campfire. Cook fish you catch and bring a cooler with food and beverages. The Finger Lakes region has grape Vinyards and wine tasting facilities. A maximum of two pets are allowed and must be supervised at all times, crated or on a leash.                                                                                                          There are two pavilions that range from $50 to $200 to accommodate 25 to 100 people. There are boat launches and boat rentals available with a large marina. Playgrounds for the kids and a swim beach. Wintertime events include X-Country skiing and ice skating. Snowshoeing on long trails. Sledding slopes in the area. Be aware of animals in the area and don’t leave food out while away or at night.                                               Insect spray can be a good idea to bring depending on where you’re camped. A good campfire keeps insects away. Review items you bring with you before leaving. How many tents you will need for the adventure. Lots of tents to choose from for camping. Whenever I camp, I bring a lantern with me for nighttime use. Flashlights are just as good. A blown-up cushion is good to sleep on in a tent.                                                                                                 These are some of the things to bring on your camping adventure.
