Greetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I have camped for many years on and off. I like the outdoors and have camped since I was in my teens. Scenic Beach State Park Camping 9565 Scenic Beach Rd Nw Seabeck WA 98380 (360) 830-5079 A nice Place to take a vacation. Review things to bring so you forget anything. Find a location to set up a campsite. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages. There may be cabins and lodging in the area. Can bring a rv or camper and a generator to have power at the campsite. Has 121 acres of land along Hood Canal. At Scenic Beach State Park, people can go on long or short hikes. A heavily wooded area with mountains and valleys. Rivers, streams and lakes, and an abundance of wildlife. Wear good cushioned sneakers or boots. Backpacking is also popular and can set up a temporary camp and continue hiking the next day. Cell phone connection might not be available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies can be a good substitute. Have a camera with you for some awesome pictures to look at later. Lay at the beach and get a suntan and take a dip in the water on hot summer days to cool off. Has 1,500 feet of shoreline. Canoeing, Kayaking and boating are lots of fun. Wear a life jacket is a good idea. Tubing and rafting on a river or lake are lots of fun. Scuba diving, snorkeling and water skiing is a blast. The water is warmer swimming at night. Bring your fishing poles as there are many kinds of fish to be caught. Fish on a boat or along the shore. After fishing cook fish at the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a container with soapy water and another container with rinse water. Many animals in the area and can smell food from a way away. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night while people are sleeping.
Go for long walks through the woods. Jogging and bicycling are popular activities. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. Lay on a hammock and relax. There are also playgrounds for the kids. Playing board games or cards. Corn hole, ring toss. and horseshoes are popular. A group of people can play volleyball. Throw a frisbee or football around. Play catch with a ball and glove. At night kids can play laser tag, hide and seek. Can look at the stars and constellations with a telescope.
