Review your things to bring with you so you don’t forget anything. Locate a spot for your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Bring a cooler with food and beverages. An abundance of animals is in the area. Has 58 campsites in the park. You can bring a rv or camper and a generator would be good to have if there aren’t any power hook ups. Log cabins and lodging may be available.                      At Atlanta State Park there are many small trails for people to hike on. A heavily wooded area with streams and a lake with 1475 acres of land along its shores. Has a 33,750 surface- acre-reservoir. Bicycling and jogging are popular activities. Cell phone connection might not be available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies may be a good substitute. Have a camera to take awesome photos to look at later.                                                                                                                                   Can lay on the sand on the beach and get a suntan on hot summer days and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Go tubing or rafting on a river or lake. Scuba diving and snorkeling are popular. Water skiing is a blast. Take a dip in the water at night and the water feels warmer.                                                                                 Play volleyball with a group of people. Corn hole, ring toss and horseshoes are popular. Throw a frisbee or football around. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are many board games that can be played or playing cards. There are playgrounds for kids. At night can watch the stars and constellations with a telescope. Kids can play laser tag, hide and seek and play tag.                                                                                                                                Bring your fishing poles as there are many kinds of fish to be caught. Fish along the shore or in a boat. Then go back to camp and cook dinner on the campfire or grill. Be sure to wash dishes in a soapy container and the another with rinse water. There are many animals in the woods and the smell of food brings them near your camp. Try not to leave food out while away from camp or at night while people are sleeping.                                        Canoeing, kayaking, and boating on a river or lake are lots of fun. Be sure to wear a life jacket as strong currents and rapids can tip a boat over. Have insect repellent with you in case there are mosquitos and other insects. A campfires smoke keeps flying insects away from the camp. Bring a lantern to be able to take walks and see pretty good. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at parks available.                                                                                                       Pet policy-cats are allowed and must call about other pets ahead of time.
