Review things you to bring with you so you don’t forget anything. Find a location to set up your camping site. Pitch your tent and build a campfire. Have a cooler with food and beverages. A rv-camper would be good to use for this also. A generator for if there aren’t any hook ups for power supply. There are log cabins in the area and lodging available                                                                                                                    At Ichetucknee Springs there are a variety of hiking trails. The park has 2,669 acres of land. Be sure to bring good, cushioned sneakers or boots for any place you decide to go hiking. There may not be cell phone connection in some areas. A set of walkie talkies would be a good substitute. A camera for real good photos to look at later. The park does have tours for hikes and boat tours. There is horseback riding at the park.

The Crystaline Ichetucknee river flows through hammock shaded wetlands. A canoe, kayak, or a boat brought for paddling down the river.  From the end of May until September you could go tubing and rafting on the river. Watch for strong currents and rapids can tip a boat over. Have a life jacket with you is always a good idea. Could go snorkeling and scuba diving. If motorboats are allowed, someone could go water skiing.                                                           Bring your fishing poles as there are a variety of fish to be caught. Can go fishing from the shore or in a boat. After, you can bring any fish you caught back to camp and have a cookout over the fire or on a grill for dinner.                                                                                         Wash your dishes in a container of soapy water and another with rinse water. There are many animals in the woods, and they can smell food from a long way away. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night while people are sleeping.

Take a long walk through the woods on a warm summer day. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the park. Lay in a hammock and relax after a long day. Could go jogging or bicycling on trails or paths throughout the park. Mountain bikes would be good for fun on small hills or just riding around.

Lay in the sun and get a suntan. Take a dip in the water on hot summer days to cool off. At night the water feels warmer to take a swim. Play corn hole, ring toss a horseshoe that are popular. Throw a frisbee or football around. Play catch with a ball and glove. A group of people can play volleyball or softball.                          There are playgrounds for the kids to play at. A board game or play cards. At night kids can play laser tag and hide and seek. Take a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Bring insect repellent with you for mosquitos and other bugs. The campfires smoke keeps flying insects away. Have a lantern for walks at night so you can see well.                                                                              Pet policy- you can bring a pet with you to certain parts of the park. Dogs must be kept with you at all times on a leash at no further than 6 feet. Dogs are permitted on the Trestle Point and Pine Ridge Trails.                                                                                                                    These are some of the activities you can have on your camping adventure.
