Anastasia State Park camping
UncategorizedGreetings, my name is Jeff, and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and enjoy camping. http://mucampimngvacationsites.com 300 Anastasia Park Road St. Augustine Fl 32080 (904) 461-2033 A wonderful place to take a vacation. Find a place to choose for a location for your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages. A rv-camper can be rented or brought with you. Have a power generator in case there are no power hook ups. There may be cabins to rent or lodging in the area. Anastasia State Park has 1,600 acres of land at the park. Explore 1 of 4 hiking trails and wear good, cushioned sneakers or boots for any hiking. Bicycles and jogging are popular activities. There are bike trails with a line, and you can rent a bike if needed. Helmets are highly recommended for all cyclists and Florida law requires helmets for cyclists 16 and under. Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies could be a good substitute. A camera to take awesome photos to look at later. There are many species of wildlife to be found at the park. There are numerous species of bird at the park. Insect repellent would be a good idea to have with you as there are mosquitos and other insects. A campfire helps keep away flying insects. A lantern at night is good to have to walk around with. Lay on the beach and get a sun-tan and on hot summer days take a dip in the ocean. Has a lengthy lagoon for wind surfing. Have or rent a motorboat for water skiing. Go snorkeling and scuba diving. A canoe, Kayak, and boating can be lots of fun. Bring your fishing poles and there is an abundance of sea life. Lots of species of fish to be caught. One of the most popular for inshore and fly fishing is salt run. Can take or rent a boat for fishing. After fishing, you can take the fish you caught back to camp and cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in 2 containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Animals can smell food at a distance and get drawn to near a camp. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night while people are sleeping.
Take long walks in the woods on trails and paths. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. Lots of activities including playing board games and cards. Volleyball and softball games with a large group of people. Corn hole, ring toss and horseshoes are popular. Throwing around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for kids. At night kids can play laser tag and hide and seek. Skipping stones is a past time favorite for me. A telescope to view the stars and constellations. Dogs are allowed at the campground and trails. They must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Dogs are not allowed at the beach area. Jeff http://my-camping-sites.com
