Pitch your tent and build a campfire. Have a cooler with food and beverages. Could bring or rent an rv or camper. Have a generator for the camper as there may not be hook ups in some places where you might camp. The park has 1,459 acres of land and 12.83 acres submerged. There may be cabins in the area and lodging. Check and review things you want to bring with you before leaving to go camping.                                       At Rainbow State Park there is a nature trail. Hiking anywhere you should have good boots or sneakers for short or long hikes. A backpack for long hikes with a canteen. Someone could have an overnight temporary camp before continuing the next day. Jogging and bicycle riding are popular. Cell phone connection are not always available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies could be a good substitute in the situation. Having a camera to take many awesome photos to look at later.

            Lay out in the sun and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. Could set up a hammock and relax. Go tubing or rafting on a river or lake for fun. On a river must be careful about strong currents, rapids and the boat can tip over.                  Canoeing, kayaking and boating are lots of fun. Lakes have deep water and could go scuba diving and snorkeling. If motorboats are allowed, water skiing is a blast. Life jackets are a good idea to wear.

            Bring your fishing poles for this adventure. Fishing is available to registered campers only from the campground. The looking glass waters at Rainbow springs comes from several vents. The river itself supports a wide variety of fish. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. Would be a good idea to bring insect repellent with you as there are mosquitos and other insects. A campfires smoke does well to keep flying insects away.                                                                                                                                          Take your catch back to the camp and cook over the campfire or a grill. Try to be sure to wash your dishes as there is an abundance of animals at the park. Using two containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. The animals can smell the food from a way away and could be drawn near your camp. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night while people are sleeping.                                                                                                                        Could go on long walks through the woods or on paths. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at parks. There are lots of activities for people. Could bring a board game or play cards. Corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes are popular games. Play catch with a frisbee or football. Volleyball and softball for groups of people.                                                                                                                                    There are usually playgrounds at a park for kids to play on. At night kids can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Play catch with a ball and glove. Play catch with a frisbee or football.                            Pets are allowed and only in designated areas. Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and well behaved at all times.                    These are some of the activities you can enjoy.
