Holly Bay KY Camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and camp at different places. http://mycampingvacationsites 395 Laurel Lake Rd. London KY 40744 (606) 878-8134 A nice place to take a vacation. Review things you to bring along to the camping area. Locate a place to set up a campsite. Pitch a tent and build a campfire. A cooler with food and beverages to keep things chilled. A rv-camper with a generator in case there are not any electric hook ups where you’re camped. There are cabins in the area and lodging. Holly Bay camping is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. There are many hiking trails in the forest. A good idea to wear cushioned sole boots or sneakers. Can go backpacking and stay the night and continue the next day. A canteen for long hikes to have cold water to drink. May not be cell phone connection available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies for a substitute may be a good idea. A camera brought to take awesome photos to look at later. At the Marina you can rent a canoe, kayak, and boats for fun days of paddling around. Be careful boating on a river as there are strong currents and rapids that can tip your boat over. Wear a life jacket for your safety. Go tubing or rafting down the river and flow with the current. Scuba diving and snorkeling are popular activities. Water skiing and wind surfing are lots of fun. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Fish from a boat or from along the shore. After fishing bring your catch back to your camp and cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a container of soapy water and another container with rinse water. There are lots of animals in the woods and the smell of food attracts them to your camp. Try not to leave food out while your away from the camp and at night when people are sleeping.
Take long walks in the woods on paths or trails. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the park. There are many activities some can do at a park. Playing board games and playing cards. Corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes are popular games. Groups of people can play softball. There are playgrounds at the park for kids. At night kids can play laser tag and hide and seek. A telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Can skip stones across a river or lake. Lay on the beach and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip in the water to cool off. To swim at night the water feels warmer. Lay in a hammock, read a book and relax. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer on the beach. A maximum of pets per campsite for a daily/weekly camper is 3. For extended stay campers, the maximum number of pets is 2, and in the primitive section only 1 pet allowed. All pets must be registered prior to being allowed at the resort. To determine if a pet is vicious or a restricted breed. Jeff http://my-camping-sites.com
