Kincaid Lake State Park Camping Ky
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like to camp and at different locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com
565 Kincaid Park Falmouth KY 41040 (859) 654-3531 A nice place to go on a vacation. Review things to bring so you don’t forget anything. Find a place to set up a campsite. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. A cooler with food and beverages kept cold. A RV-Camper with a generator in case there are no hook-ups available. There are cabins in the area to rent and lodging. At Kincaid Lake State Park there are 3 small trails to hike on. A canteen for cold water to drink while hiking. A good idea to wear hiking boots anywhere you hike. There may not be cell phone connection available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies is a good substitute in this situation. Bug repellent for mosquitoes and other insects might be a good idea. There are lots of scenery on trails and a camera to take Awesome photos to look at later. A campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away.
A canoe, kayak on a river or lake to paddle around anywhere for fun. Boating down a river has strong currents and rapids that can tip over a boat. A life jacket for safety is a good idea to bring. Snorkeling and scuba diving are lots of fun. Water skiing and wind surfing are popular activities. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Take your catch back to camp to cook on a campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers. One with soapy water and another with rinsing water. There are many species of animals in the woods that can smell food from a distance. Clean dishes cut back on the smell of food. Try to keep food stored while away from the camp and at night when people are sleeping. Lay out in the sun and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip in the water to cool off. At night the water feels warmer to swim in. An innertube or raft can be used to float down a river along the current. Take long walks in the woods on paths or trails. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the park. There are a lot of activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Throw around a frisbee or football. Play catch with a ball and glove. Groups of people can play volleyball and soccer. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek, A telescope to look at the stars and constellations. These are some of the activities you can have at the park.
