Firefly Beach State Park KY camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like to camp and the outdoors. To go camping at different locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 4903 Cleveland Rd. E. Huron OH 44839 (419) 557-4108 A good place to take a vacation. Review things to bring along so you don’t forget anything. Find a location to set up your camp. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. Has 71 campsites and 10 are reserved for double campsites. A cooler with food and beverages to keep food cold. A RV-camper with a generator in case there are no hook-ups available. There are cottages to rent and lodging in the area. Firefly beach Resort is located on the southernmost point of Lake Erie. There are a few hiking trails to choose from. Wear good shoes to go hiking anywhere. A canteen brought with cold water to drink along the hiking trail. Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies may be a good substitute. Go sight see along the trail and bring a camera to look at awesome photos later. Insect repellent may be a good idea as there are mosquitoes. A campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away. A canoe, kayak, are fun to paddle around anywhere you like. Wear a life jacket for safety. Water ski and wind sailing are lots of fun. Go snorkeling and scuba diving. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. Take fish back to the campsite and cook on the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash dishes in two containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Try to keep food put away while away from the camp and at night when people are sleeping. There are lots of animals in the woods that can smell food and good to have clean dishes to cut the smell of food. Lay on the beach and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip to cool off. Take a dip at night and the water feels warmer. Innertubing and rafting are lots of fun. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Groups of people can play volleyball and soccer. Take long walks in the woods on paths and along a trail for scenery. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. There are many activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek. A telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Skip stones in the water on the lake. Pet policy- No animals are allowed on the beach or beachfront sites. Pets must be on a leash and attended at all times outdoors. All pet waste must be disposed of properly. These are some of the things to do at the campground. Thanks for another excellent campsite review Jeff, this one discussing the Firefly Beach State Park KY camping area where they offer seventy one campsites on the far southernmost point of Lake Erie.
I am glad to hear there are hiking trails and also thankful for you tip to remember a canteen so that I can be sure to stay hydrated on the walks that I take there.
I’ll make sure and bring my walkie-talkies to because I have been caught in an area in the past where there was no cell phone service and it made it impossible to communicate in the fashion that we have become accustomed to in today’s society.
Wow, Jeff, your camping site sounds like a dream come true! I love how you’ve thought of everything from hiking trails to water sports to fishing. It’s clear that you have a passion for the outdoors and really know how to make the most of it. I’ll definitely be packing my canteen and insect repellent when I visit!
