John Bryan State Park camping
UncategorizedGreetings! My name is Jeff, and this is my computer. I like the outdoors and to camp at different locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 3790 St Route 370 Yellow Springs OH 435387 (937) 767-12274 A really nice place to take a vacation. Review things to bring along so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up a campsite. Build your campfire and pitch a tent. A cooler with food and beverages to be kept cool. A RV-camper with a generator in case there are not any power hook ups available. There are cabins for rent and lodging in the area. John Bryan State Park in western Ohio, offers 752 acres of scenery plus a stunning limestone gorge cut by the little Miami river. Has several small trails and a 10-mile Power line trail. Wear good boots and sneakers on this hike and any others. Mountain bike riding and jogging are popular.
A canteen with cold water to drink on any hikes. There may not be cell phone connection available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies would be a good substitute. Look at lots of scenery and a camera to take awesome photos to look at later. Insect repellent would be a good idea for those nasty mosquitoes. A campfires smoke to keep flying insects away. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish in a river or lake. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Clean and take your fish back to camp and have a cookout over a campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many animal species in the forest and the smell of food can attract them to your camp hungry. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night when people get hurt. Lay out and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. Lay in a hammock relax and read a book. A canoe, kayak, to paddle around a lake or river wherever you want to. Wear life jackets for safety. There are strong currents and rapids on a river that can tip over a boat. Water ski and wind sailing are popular activities. Innertube or rafting can be lots of fun on a lake or river. Float down a river and let the current take you downstream. Scuba diving and snorkeling are exciting. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer on the beach. Take long walks in the woods to look at scenery along paths or trails. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. Lots of activities such as corn hole, ring toss and horseshoes. Play a board game or play cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids. They can skip stones in a river or lake. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek. A telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Pet policy- pets must be on a leash and cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in the nature preserve but are allowed at the state park. You can bring your dog along with no fees. Just remember to follow park rules. These are some of the things someone can do at the park and there’s much more.
