Buck Creek State Park
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like to camp and like the outdoors at new locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 1976 Buck Creek Ln, Springfield OH 45502 (937) 322-5284 A nice place to take a vacation. Review things to bring along for camping. Locate a place to set up a campsite. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. A cooler with food and beverages kept cold. A RV-Camper with a generator in case there are no hookups available. Rent a cabin and there is lodging in the area. At Buck Creek State Park there are several trails to hike along on. Wear good hiking boots or sneakers with decent sole cushions. A canteen with cold water to drink along the hike. Jogging and mountain bike riding are popular.
There may not be cell phone connection in some areas. A set of walkie talkies are a good substitute. A camera brought along for taking awesome photos of really good scenery to look at later. Bug repellent is good to have, and mosquitoes are a pest. A campfires smoke is good to help keep away flying insects.
Lay out along the shore and get a suntan on hot summer days and then take a dip in the water to cool off. A canoe, kayak, are lots of fun to paddle around anywhere on a lake or river. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Water skiing and wind sailing are lots of fun. Scuba diving and snorkeling are a blast. An innertube or a raft to float down a river along with the current. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish on a boat or along the shore. Have a cookout back at camp over a campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many animals in the woods and clean dishes helps cut back the smell that brings them to your camp looking for food. Try and not leave food out while away from the camp or at night when people are sleeping. Take walks in the woods on paths or trails and enjoy the scenery. Ride a bicycle through the woods. Lay in a hammock, relax and read a book. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. There are lots of activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play a board game or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. Groups of people can play volleyball. There are playgrounds at the park for kids to play on. They can play laser tag at night and hide and seek. Skip stones in the lake or river. Look at the stars and constellations with a telescope. Pet policy- Dogs are welcome and must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and cleaned up after. No pets allowed in the bath house. Campers with pets my camp at designated sites. These are some of the activities and there is much more. Leave a message at the bottom of the page in the Comment section. Click on my e-mail and leave a message also.
