Punderson State Park camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at different locations. jeff@mycampingvacationsites.com 11755 Kinsman Rd. Newbury OH 44065 (440) 564-2279 A real nice place to go camping. Review things to bring so that you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up a campsite. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. A cooler with food and beverages kept cold. Has 741-acre land through the park. A RV-camper with a generator in case there are not any hook-ups available. Rent a cabin and there is lodging in the area. At Punderson State Park, there are several small hiking trails. Wear good boots or sneakers while hiking anywhere. Mountain bike riding. Horseback riding, and jogging are popular. A canteen brought to drink cold water along the way.
Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas. A set of walkie-talkies would be a good substitute. There’s lots of scenery and a camera to take awesome photos to look at later. Have some bug repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. A campfire smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite.
A canoe, kayak, can be lots of fun and you can paddle around the lake wherever you like. Wear a life jacket for safety. Has a 150-acre lake with lots of activities. Can go scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Wind sailing would be a blast on the lake. Bring your fishing poles as there are lots of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. Have a cookout after and bring your catch and cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many species of animals in the park that can smell the food from a distance. Washing the dishes cuts the smell and chances of hungry animals looking for food.
Lay out in the sun on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Swim at night and the water feels warmer. Lay on a hammock to rest and read a book. There are lots of activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play board games or cards. Play catch with a ball and glove. Throw a football or frisbee around. Groups of people can play volleyball, softball, and soccer. There is a golf course at the park. There are playgrounds at the park for kids to play at. They can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope and look at the stars and constellations. Pet policy- Dogs are allowed at the park including the 14-mile hiking trails and in the campgrounds. Dogs cannot go on the designated sand swim beach; they can swim outside of the swim beach area. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after and are not allowed inside any buildings on the glof course. The park does not allow hunting. These are some of the things you can do at the park. Leave a message if you like at the bottom in the comment section. Click on my e-mail and can send a message also.
