Hocking Hills State Park Oh camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at different locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 19852 State Route 664 S Logan OH (740) 385-8685 Real nice place to take a vacation. Review things to bring with you for this camping experience. Locate a place to build a campsite. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. A cooler with food and beverages kept cold. An RV- Camper with a generator in case there are no power hook-ups available. Features more than 50 cabin rentals offering a variety of unique amenities. The Hoking hills lodge has 81 rooms to rent in a new renovated Lodge. There is other lodging in the area as well. At hocking Hills State Park there are many trails to hike on. A couple more than 10 miles long and several short trails. Wear good hiking boots or sneakers along any trails. A canteen with cold water to drink along the way. Mountain bike riding, walking, and jogging are popular activities.
There may not be cell phone connection in their area. Set of walkie-talkies would be a good replacement. There are lots of scenery along the trails and a camera to take awesome photos to look at later. Bug repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. A campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away. Canoes, kayaks, to paddle along a river or lake is lots of fun. Wear life jackets for safety purposes. Scuba diving and snorkeling are popular activities. Water ski and wind sailing are a blast. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. A valid Ohio fishing license is required to fish on Rose Lake. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Have a cookout after back at camp over a campfire or grill for dinner. Wash the dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are lots of animals in the area that can smell food being cooked or left out. Try not to leave food out while away from the campsite or when people are sleeping. Lay out and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. An inner tube or raft to float down a river or near the shore of a lake. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the park. Take long walks through the woods on paths or trails. Lay out on a hammock to relax and read a book. Groups of people can play volleyball.
Many activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play a board game or cards. Throw around a football or Frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids. They can play laser tag at night and play hide-and-seek. A telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Skip stones in the river or lake. These are some of the activities at the park and there is much more. Leave a message if you like at the bottom comment section. Click on my e-mail site and can leave a message. Enjoy your camping adventure wherever you decide to go camping. Pet policy- Dogs are allowed at the park. Pets are not permitted in the lodge. Including lodge guest rooms, or cabins not designated as pet friendly. Please keep pets leashed and bring enough drinking water for you and your pet.
