Buckeye Lake State OH Park Camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and new locations to camp at. jeff@mycampingvacationsites.com 2905 Lieb’s Rd. Millersport, oh 43406 (740) 467-2690 A really nice place to take a vacation away from everyday things. Review things you need to bring along for the camping adventure, so you don’t forget anything. Find a place to set up your camping site. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. A cooler with food and beverages kept cold. Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no power hook-ups available. Rent a cabin and there is lodging in the area. At Buckeye Lake State Park, there are a couple hiking trails available. Wear good boots or sneakers on any hiking experience. Canteen with cold water for any hiking is a good idea. Jogging, walking, and Mountain bike riding are popular activities.
There may not be cell phone connection in some areas. Set of walkie talkies to talk with other campers in your group may be a good idea. Have a camera to take awesome photos of the scenery on trails and anywhere. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. A campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Take a canoe, kayak and paddle all over the lake wherever you like and look at scenery. Wear a life jacket for safety. Water ski and wind surfing are popular activities. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Have a cookout after back at camp over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers in soapy water and another in rinse water. The smell of food could bring animals to your camp. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night while people are sleeping. Buckeye Lake is a 3,100-acre lake. Lay on the beach and get a suntan on hot summer days and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. An innertube or raft to play around near the shore or further out on the lake. A group of people can play volleyball on or near the beach. Take long walks in the woods on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. There are activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play board games or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for kids to play on. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope and look at the stars and constellations. Pet policy- Pets are welcome at the park and must be kept on a leash and please clean up after your pet. These are some of the activities you can have at the park and there is more.
