Greetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at new locations. 190 Waterfront Way East Sound WA 98245 (360) 376-2240 A nice place to take a vacation get away. Review things to bring along so you don’t forget anything. Find a location for your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept chilled. Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no power hook ups. There are cabins and lodging in the area. Beach front and ocean view cottages on a pebble beach. Has an easy trail to go hiking on. Wear good sneakers or boots on any hiking adventure. Have a canteen with cold water to drink along the way. Walking, Mountain bike riding, and jogging are popular activities.
There may not be any cell phone connection available. Set of walkie-talkies would be a good a substitute. Have a camera to take awesome photos of scenery to look at later. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. A campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from the campsite. Canoes, Kayaks to paddle around to look at the scenery. Scuba diving and snorkeling are popular activities. Water ski and wind sailing are lots of fun. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Take your catch back to the campsite and have a cookout over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many species of animals in the woods that can smell food from a distance. Washing the dishes helps cut back the smell that’s draw animals to your camp. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp and at night while people are sleeping. Lay out on the beach on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Swim at night and the water feels warmer. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer on the beach. There are many activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play a board game or play cards. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds that kids can play on. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Skip stones in the lake. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the resort. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Take long walks through the woods on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Pet policy- Well behaved pets are accepted by arrangement only. Certain cabins for a charge of $25 per day.
