;;Olympic National Park WA Camping Vacation
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and This is my camping site. I like the outdoors and like to camp at new locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 3002 Mt Angeles Rd. Port Angeles WA 98362 (360) 565-3130 Planning a Vacation away from everyday things. Then this location would be a good idea. Review things to take so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept cold. Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no power hook-ups available. There are cabins to rent and lodging in the area. There are several trails to go hiking on throughout the Olympic Mountains to old growth forests. Have a good pair of boots or sneakers with good cushion soles. Canteen to have cold water to drink along your trail hiking. Mountain bike riding, horseback riding, walking, and jogging are popular activities.
There may not be cell phone connection available in some areas. Walkie talkies may be a good substitute to talk to people in your camping group. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Have a camera to take awesome photos of your camping experience.
Canoes, Kayaks, to paddle around and look at the scenery. Boating on a river has strong currents that can tip over your boat. Life jackets for safety purposes is suggested. Water ski and wind sailing are popular activities. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. Bring your catch back to the campsite and have a cookout over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash you dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are lots of animals in the forest that can smell your food being cooked and washing the dishes cuts the smell and you have clean dishes. Try not to leave food out while away from your camp or at night while people are sleeping.
Lay out on the shore and get a suntan on hot summer days and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Swimming at night the water feels warmer. Have an innertube or raft to play around in the water or to just relax and float on the current. There are many activities you can have such as corn hole, ring toss, and play horseshoes. Play board games or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer.
Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the park. Take long walks in the woods on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids to play on. They can play laser tag at night and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Skip stones on a river or lake. Pet policy- Dogs are welcome at most campgrounds located within Olympic National Park. That does not mean they will be able to venture much further than the campground. Please keep your dog on a leash not more than 6 feet in length. There are some of the activities you can have and there is much more. Leave a message in the comment section at the bottom. Click on my e-mail to leave a message if you like.
