Greetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at new locations. jeff@mycampingvacationsites.com 12000 N.Bush Hwy Mesa, AZ 85215 (602) 225-5200 Looking for a nice place to take a vacation away from your everyday things. Review things to bring along with you so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept cold. Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no hook-ups available. Rent a cabin and there is lodging in the area. There are a few small hiking trails in the area. Wear good boots or sneakers with good cushion soles for your hiking adventure. Canteen with cold water for any hiking. There are activities like walking, Mountain bike riding, horseback riding, and jogging that are popular for on the trails. There may not be cell phone connection available in some areas. Set of walkie talkies would be a good substitute for a group of hikers. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Have a camera to take awesome photos of the scenery to look at later.
Salt River does flow past the campsite. Have a canoe, kayak, to paddle downstream and there may be strong currents and rapids that can tip over your boat. You can go scuba diving and snorkeling at Saguaro Lake or in the river. Wind sailing and water ski are popular activities. Wear a life jacket while boating anywhere. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. There are large bass in the lake and Carp exist in the depths. Bluegill come in a variety of sizes. There are Wall eye black crappie, Small-mouth bass, bigmouth buffalo and yellow bass. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Take your catch back to the camp and cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash the dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are lots of animals in the woods and the smell of food can bring them to your camp. Washing the dishes cuts the smell and you have clean dishes. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night when people are sleeping.
Lay out in the sun and get a tan on hot summer days and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Have a swim at night and the water feels warmer. An innertube or raft to play around in the water is lots of fun.
Take long walks in the woods on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer. There are lots of activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Can play a board game or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids to play on. They can play laser tag at night and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Skip stones on a river or lake. Pet Policy- Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length. Pets may not be taken on trails, off road or inside both visitor centers. Pets may not be left unattended in or outside of a vehicle at any time. These are some of the activities you can have and there is more. Leave a message in the comment section at the bottom. Click on my e-mail and can leave a message if you like. Enjoy your camping adventure wherever you decide to go camping. Jeff GTM-T7JH657http://my-camping-sites.com

And ANOTHER gorgeous place in Arizona! Jeff! I’m dumb founded!
I used to travel a lot, but have been in stay-at-home mode for several years now. I kinda wanted it that way, but enough is enough, already. The wanderlust urge is creeping up on me again. I used to think of Arizona as some place I did NOT want to go, but can see now that I was wrong. I will have to go there one of these days. Thanks for opening my eyes.
