Hello! Thanks for your reply. I heard of this location through a couple I know who did go there and they seemed to like their vacation. I have been thinking to maybe give that a try sometime in the future. I have been thinking about Havasu falls location also. Both look pretty good to me for a vacation sometime.
Hi Jeff,
Thank you for sharing this great article; I loved the reading!
My children, husband, and I were planing a trip to Arizona and didn’t know where to go camping there. The Patagonia Lake seems to be the perfect fit for us as we love kayaking, hiking, soaking up the sun on the beach, and camping.
Just a question, please. How much would cost such a trip to the Patagonia campsite? Is everything included in the price?
And what do we get?
Sorry for all these questions. I need to plan my trip properly:)
Thanks again!
This article describes the essential items needed for a trip to Patagonia. Activities that you can do with safety in mind are also mentioned. Jeff even named the species of fish that are available to eat in this area and gave excellent warnings to wash your dishes and avoid leaving food outside the tent at night so that the animals of the jungle do not disturb your lovely camp.
I really liked the content of the article and recommend it.
I am really intrigued by a summer vacation trip to the Patagonia AZ State Park Camping area Jeff and your article has done nothing but further my interest in what seems like a fantastic adventure to be had there in the summer heat.
I will make sure to bring my cooler loaded all the way down with ice in order to keep all the food and beverages for the trip cold.
I appreciate you mentioning the bug spray as I always tend to forget it and then I’m left to suffer from the consequences of my forgetfulness.
Do you know if there are slot limits for any of the fish you are allowed to catch at the Patagonia AZ State Park Camping area?
I saw something that says fish advisory in effect. ADEQ recommends that adults limit consumption of flathead catfish to 2.5 ounces (uncooked weight) per week and children 12 years of age and younger limit consumption to 2 ounces (uncooked weight) per month.
