Becker Lake AZ Camping Vacation
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and new places to camp at. jeff@mycampingvacationsites.com 272 West Main Street Springer Ville AZ 85938 (928) 333-4632 Looking for a place to take a vacation away from the everyday things. Then you may have found the place for a vacation retreat. Review things to bring along so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept cold. A Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no power hook ups available. Can rent a cabin and there is lodging in the area. Becker Lake has 622 acres of wildlife area. The lake has 107 acres at full capacity. Has two small hiking trails to choose from. Wear hiking boots or sneakers with good cushion soles when doing any hiking. Canteen with cold water to drink. Some camping adventures you can plan a backpacking and set up a temporary overnight camp and continue your hike the next day. Mountain bike riding, horseback riding, walking, and jogging are popular.
There may not be any cell phone connection available in some areas. Set of walkie-talkies could be a good substitute for groups of campers. Have a camera to take awesome photos of the scenery to look at later. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Bring along some medical supplies in case ever needed. Can go canoeing or kayaking and paddle around the lake and look at the scenery. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Water ski and wind sailing are a blast. Boating on a river has strong currents and rapids that can tip over your boat. Bring your fishing pole as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. The lake has brown and rainbow trout, little Colorado suckers and green sunfish. Take your catch back to the campsite for a cookout over the campfire or grill for dinner. There are many species of animals in the area that can smell food from a distance and come to your camp hungry. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Washing the dishes cuts the smell of food and you have clean dishes. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night when people are sleeping. Lay out in the sun on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Swim at night and the water feels warmer. Have an innertube or raft to play around in the water. On a river someone can flow with the current downstream and enjoy the day. There are many activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play a board game or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids to play on. They can play laser tag and hide and seek at night. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Can skip stones on a lake or river. Have a picnic on a blanket or at the picnic table. Take long walks on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer. Pet policy- Dogs are welcome and should be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Pets should be kept under your control at all times. These are some of the activities you can have at the park and there is more. Leave a message at the bottom comment section if you like.
