;;Pinegrove Az Camping Vacation
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at new locations. jeff@mycampingvacationsites.com 19536 Lake Mary Rd. Flagstaff Az 86001 (928) 226-0493 Looking for a place to take a vacation away from your everyday things. Then you may have just found the place you would like to go to relax or anything else. Review things you would like to bring along, so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent at a flat location. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept cold. An Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no hook-ups available. Can rent a cabin or lodging may be in the area. At Pinegrove there are many trails nearby to choose from to go hiking. Have a good pair of boots or sneakers for your camping adventure. Canteen with cold water to drink along the way on the trails. Can go backpacking and set up a temporary camp along the way and continue your hike the next day. There may not be cell phone connection available in some areas. Would be a good idea to have a set of walkie talkies as a substitute so you can talk with people in your camping group. Have a camera to take awesome photos of the scenery to look at later. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Maybe have a first aid kit in case ever needed. Have a canoe or kayak to paddle around the lake or river. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Boating on a river has strong currents and rapids that can tip over your boat. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Water ski and wind sailing are popular activities. There are many species of fish to be caught. Can go fishing from a boat or from along the shore. Nearby Upper and Lower Lake Mary serve as recreational focus for this campground. All are stocked with fish including Trout, bass, and channel catfish. Take your catch back to the campsite and have a cookout over the campfire or grill. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many species of animals in the woods that can smell food and come to your camp hungry. Washing the dishes cuts the smell of food and you have clean dishes. Try not to leave food out while away from the campsite or when people are sleeping. Storing food in a vehicle would be a good way to keep food away from the animals.
Lay out in the sun on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Have a swim at night and the water feels warmer. Have an innertube or raft and can play around in the water or just relax. There are activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play a board game or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids to play on. They can play laser tag and hide and seek at night. Can have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Can skip stones on a river or lake. May have a miniature golf course at the park. Have a picnic on a blanket or at the picnic table. Take long walks on paths or trails through the woods and look at the scenery. Lay on a hammock to relax and maybe read a book. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer. Pet Policy- Dogs are allowed. Pets must be restrained on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Please clean up after your pets. No horses allowed. Any questions please call phone number at the top for assistance. These are some of the activities you can have at the park and there is more.
