;;Kathrine Landing AZ Camping Vacation
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at new locations. mycampingvacationsites.com 2690 Katherine Spur Rd. Bullhead City, AZ 86429-8997 (928) 754-3245 Looking for a place to take a vacation away from your everyday things. Then you may have just found the location you were looking for. Review things to bring along with you so you don’t forget anything. This oasis located just minutes from Bullhead City Az, and Laughlin NV, offers generous sunshine, sparkling blue water and sandy white beaches. Spend the day picnicking, hiking, or taking a boat out onto Lake Mohave. Boats and other equipment are available on this site. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent on a flat area. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept cold. An RV-camper with a generator in case there are no power hook-ups available. There might be cabins for rent and there is lodging in the area. The Mohave National Water Trail begins at Eldorado Canyon and extends 76 miles along the Colorado River south of the Laughlin Bridge beyond the Davis Dam. It provides 190 miles of shoreline in Arizona and Nevada and around 190 coves, along with sandy beaches, scenic areas and cultural and historic resources. Wear boots or sneakers with good cushion soles for your trail hiking. Canteen with cold water to drink along the way on hikes. Can go backpacking and set up a temporary overnight camp and continue hiking the next day. Mountain bike riding, ATV, horseback riding, walking and jogging are popular. There may not be cell phone connection available in some areas. Set of walkie talkies would be a good substitute for groups of campers. Have a camera to take awesome photos of the scenery. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Have a first aid kit in case ever needed. Have a canoe or kayak to paddle around the lake and look at the scenery or just relax. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Can go scuba diving or snorkeling for fun. Water ski and wind sailing are popular activities. Boating on a river has strong currents and rapids that can tip over your boat. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. Can expect to catch a variety of fish species including rainbow trout, striped bass, and catfish. Fishing enthusiasts should use bait such as worms, lures, and artificial flies. Take your catch back to the campsite to cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Washing the dishes cuts the smell of food and you have clean dishes. There are many animals that can smell food from a distance and come to your campsite hungry. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night when people are sleeping. Keeping food in a vehicle helps keep the animals away from your food. Lay out on the beach on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a dip at night and the water feels warmer. Have an innertube or raft to play around in the water or to just relax. Can float on a river and flow with the current downstream and enjoy the day. There are activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play a board game or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids to play on. They can play laser tag and hide and seek at night. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Can skip stones on a river or lake. Have a picnic on a blanket or at the picnic table. Take long walks on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Lay on a hammock to relax or read a book. Groups of campers can play volleyball or soccer. There may be a miniature golf course at the park to play on. Pet Policy- Pets are allowed and must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Please clean up after your pet. There is a pet restriction of 75 pounds. These are some of the activities you can have at the park and there is more.
