The Tetons – so I’ve heard – are truly amazing. They are not so terribly far away – one or two days ‘ drive, so maybe at some point I could get there. As a truck driver, I’ve been past the area, through West Yellowstone, etc., but never actually seen the Tetons.
It sounds like this is not a part of the actual Grand Teton National Park, but just south. Maybe by being off the beaten path a bit, it would be a little quieter! A 4.5-mile dirt road to get there, I would think might make it a little less busy.
Your description makes this sound like a amazing place! It would be awesome to spend time in such a beautiful wilderness given the Tetons. Maybe someday!
