Zephyr Cove (530) 543-2600 Looking for a place to take a vacation away from your everyday usual things. Then you may have found the location you were looking for a get away from things. Review things to bring along so you don’t forget anything. Each campsite has a limit of six people and two vehicles. Park vehicles in designated parking spots. Nevada Beach offers basic amenities such as restrooms, picnic tables, and fire rings. If campfires are allowed, make sure to follow the fire regulations and safety guidelines in the area. Keep an eye on any fire restrictions, as they can change based on weather conditions. The campground offers dozens of campsites. There are fees associated with camping at Nevada Beach Campground. The costs can vary based on the type of campsite (tent or Rv) the number of occupants and the season. Additionally, there might be extra fees for amenities or parking. Nevada Beach may require reservations, especially during peak seasons. It’s recommended to make reservations in advance to secure your spots. The campground offers both tent camping and Rv camping sites. The sites are located near the sandy shores of Lake Tahoe, providing beautiful lake views and surrounding mountains and easy access to the water. The lake and its sandy beaches provide ample recreation opportunities and restaurants and casinos are just moments away. 
The campground is located on the California Nevada state line. Adjacent to the popular and beautiful Lake Tahoe, at an elevation of 6,100 feet. Minutes away from the bright blue water of Tahoe’s eastern shores, campsites are nestled in a sparse forest of pine trees and evergreen shrubs. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build your campfire and pitch your tent on a flat area. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept cold. An Rv-camper with a generator in case there are no power hook ups available. Maybe rent a cabin and there may be lodging in the area. There are numerous trails in the surrounding areas. Have a pair of boots or sneakers with good, cushioned soles for this hiking adventure. Canteen with cold water to drink along the way on the trails. For long trails someone can set up a temporary overnight camp and continue hiking the next day. Mountain bike riding, ATV, horseback riding, walking and jogging are popular activities. 
There may not be any cell phone connection available in the area. Set of walkie talkies may be a good substitute for campers to communicate with other campers. Have a good camera to take awesome photos of the scenery to look at later. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Have a first aid kit in case there ever needed. Can rent or bring a canoe or kayak to paddle around the lake and enjoy the day. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Water skiing and wind sailing are popular activities. Jet skiing offers a thrilling and speedy experience on the water. Boating activities often go hand and hand such as waterboarding, knee boarding, and tubing. These activities provide excitement and fun for both participants and spectators. Some boaters enjoy spending the night on the water by boat camping. This involves anchoring the boat in a designated area and camping on board. Bring you fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught while fishing. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. There are largemouth and smallmouth bass, rainbow, brown and brook trout, salmon, walleye, catfish, panfish, pike and musky fish to be caught. Take your catch back to the campsite to cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash you dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Washing the dishes cuts the smell of food and you have clean dishes. There are many species of animals in the area that can smell food from a distance and come to your campsite looking for food. Try not to leave your food out while away from the campsite or at night when people are sleeping. Storing food in a vehicle helps keep your food away from the animals. 
Lay out in the sun on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a dip in the water at night and the water feels warmer. Have an innertube or raft and play around in the water or just relax. Explore the shoreline, sea glass, and other interesting treasures that wash up on the beach. Could have beach bon fires in areas where are permitted. Having a beach bon fire can be a cozy and social evening activity. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids to play on. They can play laser tag and hide and seek at night. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Building sandcastles and sculptures on the beach is a creative activity enjoyed by both kids and adults. There are activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play board games or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. Groups of campers can play football, softball, or baseball. 
Choose a picturesque and comfortable spot for your picnics. Have a picnic on a blanket, picnic mat or at the picnic table. Have a picnic basket and prepare a delicious assortment of food and beverages. Don’t forget to pack some reusable utensils, cups, and napkins. Take long walks on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Dont forget to have suntan lotion and a hat as well. Groups of campers can play volleyball or soccer. Once everything is set up, take the time to relax, enjoy your food, and engage in pleasant conversations with your fellow picnickers. Pet Policy- Leashed pets are allowed in the campground area but are not permitted in picnic areas or on the beach. Leashed pets should be no longer than a 6-foot leash. My family goes camping and backpacking a lot, Arizona, Smokey Mountians, Tetons, ect. But this looks so so pretty I would love to go here sometime! Looks like a great spring trip, I feel like summer would be very hot lol! I love all of the detail you give in this post.
