Greetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at new locations. jeff@mycampingvacationsites.comhttps://www.wealthyaffiliate.com?a_aid=17e85063 3155 N. State Route 89 Prescott, Az (928) 777-1122 Looking for a place to take a vacation away from your everyday things. You may have just found the location you have been searching for. Review things to bring along with you so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent at a flat location. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept cold. An Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no power hook-ups available. There may be cabins for rent or lodging in the area. There are several trails at Watson Lake to choose from. There are 4 small trails under 5 miles long. The Prescott Circle trail is 54.6 miles and would be good for a multi-day hike. Could have a backpack to set up temporary overnight camps along the way to go hiking the next day and continue on that trail. Have good, cushioned boots or sneakers for any trail hiking. Have a canteen with cold water to drink along the way. Horseback riding, mountain bike riding, walking and jogging are popular activities. There may not be cell phone connection available in some areas. Set of walkie talkies would be a good substitute for campers to communicate with each other. Have a camera to take awesome photos of the scenery to look at later. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite. Have a small first aid kit in case if ever needed. Have a canoe or kayak to paddle around and look at the scenery and enjoy the day. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Water ski and wind sailing are lots of fun. Scuba diving and snorkeling are popular. Bring your fishing poles for a good fishing experience. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. There are bass, black bass, bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, sunfish, yellow bullhead. Take your catch back to the campsite to cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Washing your dishes reduces the smell of food and you have clean dishes. There are several species of animals in the woods that can smell food from a distance and come to your campsite hungry. Try not to leave food out while away from the campsite or at night when people are sleeping. Lay out in the sun on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. Have an innertube or raft and can play around in the water. There are many activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play board games and cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids to play on. They can play laser tag at night and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Can skip stones in the lake or river. Children are to be under parental supervision at all times.
Take long walks on paths or trails and look at the scenery. Have a picnic on a blanket or at the picnic tables. Lay on a hammock to relax and maybe read a book. Groups of campers can play volleyball or soccer. Pet Policy- Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Pets must be under control at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. These are some of the activities you can enjoy at the park and there is more. Leave a message if you like at the bottom in the comment section. Can click on my e mail and leave a message also. Enjoy your camping adventure wherever you decide to go camping. Jeff
