Activities at Park Delta State Park has many activities for people to choose from on the visit. The park is located in central New York State. Has many trails in a heavily wooded terrain. Hiking would be ideal and anyone who is interested in long walks. Cushion sneakers or boots is good to have for your feet for hiking. Lots of forest in the area. Someone can find a location and pitch a tent. Could rent or bring their camper for this camping adventure. There are campsites lodging and cabins to choose from. Bring bug spray with you for insects on any camping experience. Plenty of animals in the woods, never leave food out while away from your campsite or at night while you’re sleeping. Have enough clothes with you for how long you’re planning your stay. Bring your fishing poles. Lots of different fish in the lake. Have a grill for cookouts and get togethers. A cooler is essential for camping and store food and beverages. A campfire emits light, but a lantern is awesome for nighttime vision. Playgrounds for the kids and many activities. Canoe and Kayak would be a lot of fun and life jackets for safety. Paddle boat would be fun on the lake as well. There are boat launches also. Play volleyball and other games. Can bring a bike to ride on paths in the woods or most places. Take a dip in the water on hot summer days. Review things at home before you leave to be sure you have everything you need for your camping adventure.
Tents and a pavilion also available from $50-$200. Pets are allowed and must be supervised and kept on a leash or crated. Pets are not allowed in some areas of the park. There are winter activities also. Snow mobile, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing for winter events. These are some of the things someone can be doing at Delta Lake state Park.
