Greetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at new locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com Filmore Glen State Park 1686 state Route 38 Moravia, N.Y. 13118 (315)497-0130 A wonderful place for a vacation or weekend getaway. There are many places someone could choose to set up camp and pitch a tent. Sleeping pads to lay on a night for a comfortable night’s sleep. Build a campfire and bring a cooler with food and beverages. Sixty tents and Trailor sites are available. Could rent or bring an RV or a camper. Bring a power generator for your camp sites power. There are cabins in the area as well as lodging. Several hiking trails in the area. Have cushion sneakers or boots. A backpack for change of clothes and a canteen for cold water on long hikes. Some areas people may not have cell phone connection. Try not to hike alone in forest areas. More fun with a group of people. A heavily wooded area with a stream at Owasco lake inlet that empties into a swimming pond. The trails have awesome views and a camera brought for this adventure is a must. Review things to bring with you so you don’t forget anything. Five waterfalls are at the park and plenty of fishing at Owaska lake. Filmore Glen has 3 pavilions and prices range from $50 to $75. Couples can go on long strolls and enjoy the nature views. 
Filmore Glen State Park is in a long narrow gorge. Has a swimming pool and a picnic pavilion. Along with a playground for kids and bathrooms are at the location. Picnic tables at locations. A variety of animals in the area. Have two containers, one with soapy water and the other for rinse. So critters don’t come into your camp looking for food. Try not to leave food out while your away from camp or sleeping at night. A lantern for night is good to have for walking around. Insect spray and the campfire help keep flying insects away. There are playing fields at the park. Guided bus tours and winery transport for six people. Lake Cayuga has a variety of fish and bring your fishing poles. Canoeing and kayaking are lots of fun. Rapids and currents can be dangerous, so wear a life jacket. Water skiing is a lot of fun if you can rent or bring a motorboat. Tubing and rafting and other flotation devices available to bring. There are many games kids and adults can play. Corn hole, ring toss and horseshoes are popular. Tell campsite stories and playing cards. Throw a football or play catch with a ball and glove. Frisbee throwing and volleyball games. Kids could play Laser Tag at night. To swim at night, the water feels warmer. Lay on a hammock and relax or read a book. A telescope for stargazing and spot constellations. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed and must be on a leash or crated and supervised at all times.
