Before leaving, review things to be sure you have not forgot anything.    Find a location to set up a camp site. Pitch a tent and build a campfire. Get a cooler for food and beverages. Has 76 tent and camper sites in a heavily forested area. The campsites are in a large and secluded area. Bring a rv or camper and a generator would be good for power at the site. There may be cabins and lodging in the area. Visitors seeking solitude are less likely to see people during mid-week camping.                                                                            At Kenneth L Wilson campground, there are 47,500 acres of land at the park in the Catskill Mountains. There are 35 miles of trails for hiking. Be sure to have cushioned boots or sneakers for long hikes. A canteen with cold water to drink. A backpack with clothes and a little medical supply if someone gets hurt. Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas.                                                                                                                                                                                                         Bring your fishing poles and there are many kinds of fish to be caught. You can fish from a boat or from the shore. Have a cookout later for dinner. After the cookout, wash the dishes in 2 containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinsing water. The smell of dirty dishes draws animals to the camp looking for food. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp and at night while people are sleeping.                                                           Bring or rent a canoe or kayak for on the lake or a river. Rivers have currents, rapids and can tip a boat over. Must wear a life jacket. Can go tubing and rafting. Take a dip in the water on hot summer days to cool off. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Swimming at night the water is warmer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Go for long walks in the woods or on the trails. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. Corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes are popular games. Throw around a frisbee or football. Play catch with a ball and glove. A playground for kids is usually at parks. Kids can play laser tag and looks like fun. Use a telescope to look at the stars and constellations during the night. Play hide and seek. Board games and playing cards are popular.                                                                                                                                       Pets are allowed and must be kept on a leash at all times and at the campsite.
