Lake Manatee State Park Fl camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and camping at new locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 20007 E State Road 64 Bradenton 34212 (941) 741-3028 Would be a nice place to take a vacation. Review things to bring with you so you don’t forget anything. Find a location for your campsite. Pitch a tent and build a campfire. There are 60 locations to set up camp. A good idea to bring a cooler with food and beverages. Could bring a rv-camper for this experience. A generator to have in a camper to have for any time you want to camp may be a good idea that there may not be hook up power at some places. There is lodging in the area as well as some cabins to choose from. At Lake Manatee State Park is a 556-acre park. There are a few hiking trails to choose from. A smart idea to wear good hiking boots or sneakers for your feet to hike anywhere. Jogging and bicycling are popular activities. There are a variety of animal species at the park. Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas. A set of walkies talkies is a good substitute. A camera brought for some awesome photos to look at later. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species such as large mouth and sunshine bass, speckled perch, bluegill and catfish can be caught at the lake. They say the slower you fish the better you will do there. Can fish from a boat or along their shore. There will be signs as to there are alligators and being cautious and aware about them. There is not any manatee at the lake because of the reservoir near there. After fishing, bring your catch back to camp to cook at the campfire for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers. One with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Try to keep food put away while away from the campsite and at night while people are sleeping. There are lots of animals in the area and can smell food from a distance. There is a swimming beach at the day use sight. Lay on the beach and relax, get a suntan and take a dip on hot summer days to cool off. There are not lifeguards provided and you must swim at your own risk. Can play beach volleyball and other activities at the beach. Take long walks in the woods or strolls along the trails. Have a picnic as there are picnic table areas at the park. Can play games such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Throw around a frisbee or football. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds usually at parks for the kids to play at. At night kids can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope for looking at the stars and constellations. There are dogs allowed at the park. Must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Dogs should be attended at all times and please clean up after your pet. For more information you can call (942) 741-3028. You can leave a message at the bottom of the page if you like.
