UncategorizedGreetings, my name is Jeff, and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at good locations. 1943 KY-90 Corbin KY, 40701 (800) 541-7238 A nice place to take a vacation. Review things you want to bring with you, so you don’t forget anything. Find a place to set up a campsite location. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept chilled. A rv-camper with a generator for power if there are not any power hook-ups available. There are several cabins and lodging in the area. Has six covered wagons for camping in with beds etc. Has 20 cabins located at Falls Creek. The park is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. There are several hiking trails in the area. Wear good boots or sneakers with cushioned soles for any hiking. Can go back packing and set up a temporary camp site and continue your hiking the next day. There may not be any cell phone connection in some areas. A set of walkie talkies are a good idea. A camera to take awesome photos of your camping adventure. Have flying insect repellent if needed. A campfires smoke keeps flying insects away from the campsite. Mountain bikes and jogging are popular activities during hiking There are canoeing and kayaking trips available. A river has swift strong currents and rapids that can tip over your boat. Wear a life jacket for safety reasons. Water skiing and wind surf sailing are lots of fun. Go tubing and rafting and ride the currents downstream. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish in the river and area. Can fish from a boat or from along the shore. Take your catch back to camp and have a cookout over the fire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in two containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are animals in the area and can smell food from a distance. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night when people are sleeping. Lay out in the sun and get a sun-tan and take a dip in the water on hot summer days. Take a swim at night as the water feels warmer. Lay in a hammock and relax. Scuba diving and snorkeling are popular activities. There are river boat cruises at some of the parks. Take walks in the woods on paths or trails. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at parks. There are many activities to play and do. Boarding and playing cards for fun. Corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes are popular. Throw around a frisbee or football. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for kids to play at. At night kids can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Available mid-March through end of October have a climbing wall. Pets are allowed and only designated cabins. Can call for more information about any pet policy.
