Alum Creek State Park OH
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and new places to camp. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 3615 S. Old State Rd. Delaware OH 43015 (740) 548-4631 A nice place to take a vacation. Review things to bring so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. A cooler with food and beverages kept cold. A RV- Camper with a generator in case there are no hook ups available. There are several cabins to rent and lodging in the area. At Alum Creek State Park there are several trails’ people can hike on. A good set of boots or sneakers well cushioned for any hiking. A canteen to have cold water to drink along your hike. Mountain bike riding, walking, and jogging are popular activities.
Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies could be a good replacement. A camera to take awesome photos to look at later. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. A campfires smoke helps keep flying insects away from your campsite.
A canoe, kayak to paddle around the lake anywhere you like. Can go wind sailing and water skiing are popular. Wear a life jacket for safety purposes. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. A river has strong currents and rapids that can tip over a boat. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Have a cookout after and maybe bring your catch to cook over the campfire or grill for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many species of animals in the woods that can smell food being cooked from a distance. Washing your dishes also cuts back on the smell of the food. Try and not to leave your food out while away from your camp and at night when people are sleeping. Has a 3,000-foot-long beach for activities. Lay out on the beach and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. An innertube or a raft to float around near the beach. A group of people can play volleyball. Other activities can include corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Can play board games and cards. Play catch with a ball and glove. Throw around a football or a frisbee. There are playgrounds at the park for the kids. They can play laser tag and hide and seek. A telescope for looking at the stars and constellations. Skip stones on a lake or river. Take long walks in the woods on paths or trails. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the park. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Pet policy- Campground allows pets of any size for no additional fee in campsites only. These are some of the activities someone can have at the park and there is more. Leave a message if you like in the comment section at the bottom. Click on my e-mail to leave a message also.
