East Fork State Park OH camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at different locations. https://mycampingvacationsites.com 3294 Elklick Rd. Bethel, OH 45106 (513) 374-4323 Nice place to take a vacation from everyday things. Review things to bring so you don’t forget things. Find a place to locate a campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. A cooler with food and beverages to be kept cold. A RV- Camper with a generator in case there are no hooks ups available. There are some cabins to rent and lodging in the area. At East Fork State there are several short trails to hike on and an 11-mile trail. Have good shoes or boots to wear for any hiking trails. A canteen with cold water to drink along the way. Jogging, walking, Mountain Bike riding, are popular activities for along the trail.
There may not be any cell phone connection in some areas. A set of walkie talkies would be a good substitute. A camera brought to take good photos along the way. Insect repellent may be a good idea to take along for mosquitoes. A campfires smoke helps to keep flying insects away from your campsite.
Canoe, kayak, are lots of fun and people paddle around the lake to wherever you like. Wear a life jacket for safety on a river or lake. Water ski and wind sailing are popular activities. Can go scuba diving and snorkeling are a blast. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish you can catch. Can fish on a boat or along the shore. Have a cookout later back at the campsite and cook your fish over the campfire for dinner. Have a couple containers to wash your dishes, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many species of animals in the woods that can smell food from a distance. Washed dishes cuts back on the smell that can bring animals to your canp. Try and not leave food out while away from the camp and at night when people are sleeping.
Lay out on the beach on hot summer days and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. Float around on an innertube or raft and enjoy the day. A group of people can play volleyball on the beach. There are a lot of activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Can play board games and cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the park for kids to play on. They can play laser tag at night and hide and seek. Skip stones on the lake. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Take long walks in the woods on trails and paths to look at the scenery. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the park. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Pet policy- Dogs of all sizes are allowed. There are no pet fees. Dogs may not be left unattended. Must be kept on a leash no shorter than six feet. A limit of two per site and need to follow all the rules regarding dogs. Cats are allowed and must call for breed restrictions. These are some of the activities at the park and there is much more.
