Point of Rocks Az, Vacation-Camping
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and new places to go camping. jeff@mycampingvacationsites.com 3025 N. State Route 89 Prescott, Az 86301 (928) 445-9018 A real nice place to take a vacation away from every day things. Review things to bring along on your camping adventure to be sure you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept chilled. Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are not any hook ups available. There may be cabins for rent and lodging in the area. There are many trails to go hiking on at Point of Rocks Campground. Have good cushion sneakers or boots to wear on any hiking trails. Canteen with cold water to drink along the hike. Walking, Mountain bike riding, and jogging are popular activities on the trails.
Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas. Set of walkie talkies are a good substitute to talk to other campers while camping. Have a camera to take awesome scenic photos to look at later. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes would be a smart idea to have. Campfires help keep flying insects away from your campsite.
Canoes, Kayaks are good to have to paddle around the lake and look at the views. Wear a life jacket while on a lake or river. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Water ski and wind sailing are a blast. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Have a cookout after back at the campsite over the campfire or grill for dinner. There are lots of animals in the woods that can smell food cooking from a distance and get drawn to a camp. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night while people are sleeping. Lay out on a hot summer day and get a suntan and then take a dip in the water to cool off. At night the water feels warm to swim in. Have an innertube or a raft to play around near the shore. Have a picnic and there are picnic tables at the campground. Take walks on paths or trails to look at scenery. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Groups of people can play volleyball or soccer. There is internet access, laundry, showers, and bathrooms available. There are many activities such as corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play a board game or play cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at the camping are for the kids to play on. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Skip stones on the river or lake. Pets are allowed and must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Call for breed restrictions. These are some of the activities someone can have at the park. Leave a message if you like at the bottom in the comment section. Can leave a message in my e-mail also. Enjoy your camping adventure wherever you decide to go camping. Jeff
