Apache Lake AZ camping Vacation
UncategorizedGreetings! I’m Jeff and this is my camping site. I like the outdoors and to camp at new locations. jeff@mycampingvacatioonsites.com 229.5-mile marker Roosevelt AZ, 85545 (928) 923-6690 Looking for a place to take a vacation away from the everyday things. Review things to bring along so you don’t forget anything. Locate a place to set up your campsite. Build a campfire and pitch your tent. Have a cooler with food and beverages kept chilled. Rv-Camper with a generator in case there are no hook-ups available. Rent a cabin and there is lodging in the area. There are several hiking trails near Apache Lake. Have good boots or sneakers with good cushion soles for any hiking trails. Canteen with cold water to drink. Jogging, walking, Mountain bike riding, and horseback riding are popular activities. There may not be cell phone connection in some areas. Set of walkie talkies could be a good substitute for a group of campers. Insect repellent for those nasty mosquitoes. Campfires help keep away flying insects from your campsite. Have a camera to take photos of the awesome scenery along your trail hikes or anywhere else.
Have a canoe, kayak, to paddle around the lake to look at scenery and enjoy the day. Boating on a river there are strong currents and rapids that can tip your boat over. Wear a life jacket for safety is suggested. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Water ski and wind sailing are a blast. Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Take your catch back to camp for a cookout over the campfire or grill for dinner. Washing your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other with rinse water. There are many kinds of animals in the woods that can smell your food cooking from a distance. Washing the dishes cuts the smell and you have clean dishes. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp or at night while people are sleeping.
Lay out in the sun and get a suntan on hot summer days and then take a dip in the water to cool off. Take a swim at night and the water feels warmer. Have an innertube or raft to paddle around and have fun. Lay on a hammock to relax and read a book. Groups of people can play volleyball. There are many activities such a corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes. Play board games or cards. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. There are playgrounds at parks for the kids to play on. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek. Have a telescope to look at the stars and constellations. Can skip stones on a river or lake. Pet Policy- Dogs are only allowed at campsites. No dogs are allowed in the venue area or in hotel rooms. Please keep dogs on a leash no longer than 6 feet long. These are some of the activities you can have while on your vacation. Leave a message at the bottom comment section. Click on my e-mail to leave a message if you like.
