Review your things to be sure you didn’t forget anything. Find a location to set up camp. Build a campfire and pitch a tent. Each site has a campfire ring and a picnic table. Bring a cooler for food and beverages. A rv or camper with a generator for power if there are not any hook ups. Electric hook ups are provided at some sites. Has 12 cabins to accommodate up to 6 guests. Pets are allowed in some cabins and call for more info. There are season fees at the park.                                  Zilpo Campground is at the Daniel Boone National Park. There are hiking trails and bring good, cushioned sneakers or boots. Bike riding and jogging are popular activities for on the trails. Cell phone connection may not be available in some areas. A set of walkie talkies would be a good replacement. A camera to take awesome photos to look at later. Would be a good idea to get insect repellent for mosquitos and other insects. The smoke from a campfire keeps flying insects away.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Rent or bring a canoe, kayak, or boat for on a river or lake. Wear life jackets as there are strong currents and rapids on a river that can tip over the boat. Ride the current downstream on a raft or go tubing. Water skiing and wind sailing are popular activities. Scuba diving and snorkeling are lots of fun. Pull an innertube behind a motorboat is a blast.                                                                    Bring your fishing poles as there are many species of fish to be caught. Can fish from a boat or along the shore. Have a cookout for dinner. Wash your dishes in a couple containers, one with soapy water and the other in rinse water.                                                         There are animals in the area and can smell food from a distance. Washing the dishes keeps them clean and cuts the smell of food. Try not to leave food out while away from the camp and at night while people are sleeping.                                                                                         There is a beach at the park. Lay out and get a suntan on hot summer days and take a dip in the water to cool off. At night the water feels warmer to swim in.                                                                                                      Take long walks in the woods on trails or a path. Have a picnic as there are picnic tables at the park. Can play board games or play cards. Corn hole, ring toss, and horseshoes are popular games. Throw around a football or frisbee. Play catch with a ball and glove. A group of people can play volleyball or baseball.                                                                                                                                   There is a playground at the park for the kids. At night they can play laser tag and hide and seek. A telescope to look at the stars and constellations.                                                                                                These are some of the activities at the park.
